The intimate town of Bond is situated along a relatively sedate section of the iconic Colorado River. A popular spot for kayak, raft and float trips during the summer months, Bond is a hard-working yet outdoor-oriented community. Like its neighboring town, State Bridge, Bond is found on the southern terminus of the Colorado Headwaters Scenic and Historic Byway, an 80-mile drive that follows the banks of the Colorado River. While small, the scenery and wildlife found along the banks of the river make Bond noteworthy.
