Fort Carson is a U.S. Army installation just outside Colorado Springs and 30 miles north of Pueblo. The post is home to thousands of military personnel and their families. Fort Carson is not an open post. To enter, you must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance and valid photographic identification.
