Directions: If driving US Hwy. 160 between Alamosa and Pagosa Springs, turn north at South Fork onto CO 149. The Silver Thread Scenic and Historic Byway, CO 149, links South Fork, Creede and Lake City. If traveling U.S. Hwy. 50 between Gunnison and Montrose, turn south onto CO 149 at Blue Mesa Reservoir. If driving from Denver, take U.S. Hwy. 285 south to U.S. Hwy. 50 west at Salida or proceed south to Del Norte to connect with U.S. Hwy. 160 west. Via I-25 south, turn west onto U.S. Hwy. 160 at Walsenburg.
