Historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad

This 1950's-era rail line forges through one of America's most spectacular canyons. Travel in unique classes of service from glass-topped Vista Domes, to lunch, dinner, murder mystery and wine dinners. The train takes passengers through the spectacular Royal Gorge and is Colorado's oldest scenic train line.

Directions: Located just 45 minutes from Colorado Springs and 2 hours from Denver. From Colorado Springs or Denver, take I-25 south, exit 140 (Tejon) and drive to the second stoplight, take a right on Nevada (Hwy. 115). Follow Hwy. 115 to Hwy. 50 west to Cañon City. Drive to 3rd St. and take a left to the Historic Santa Fe Depot. From south of Colorado Springs, take I-25, exit 135 (South Academy) to Hwy. 115 and follow directions above.
