From Montrose, take Hwy. 550 south for 26 miles.
Telluride to RIGS - 40 minutes
From Telluride, take Hwy. 145 northwest for 17 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 145 and Hwy. 62. At the "T," turn right (northeast), and follow Hwy. 62 for 22 miles.
Durango to RIGS – 1 hour 45 minutes
From Durango, take Hwy. 550 north for 68 miles.
