Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center

Travel back in time at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, a new 20,000-square-foot museum located in Woodland Park, Colorado, featuring fossils from North America's Cretaceous Period including marine reptiles, pterosaurs, dinosaurs, a working fossil lab viewable by visitors, children's play area, hands-on educational activities. Open all year.

Directions: 18 miles west of Colorado Springs. From Denver take I-25 south (from Pueblo take I-25 north) to Colorado Springs exit 141 "24 west/Cimarron Street." At exit ramp light, make a left onto West Cimarron St. (Route 24 west). Continue on Route 24 to Woodland Park (18 miles). RMDRC is on the left at the corner of Highway 24 and Fairview St. Look for the palm trees and dinosaurs out front.
