Get Psyched for Colorado’s Legendary Ski Season with Warren Miller “Dynasty”

DENVER (September 2, 2009) – With Colorado’s legendary winter season right around the corner, what better way to get stoked for all the powder, sun and fun than by watching some of Colorado’s most talented and prodigious skiers and snowboarders tackle Colorado’s diverse terrain? This winter, the Colorado Tourism Office is proud to join Boulder-based Warren Miller Entertainment in celebrating 60 years of filmmaking by sponsoring the release of Miller’s latest film, Dynasty.
From October through December 2009, Warren Miller’s Dynasty will crisscross the country on a nationwide film tour with nearly 200 screenings in more than 80 cities. The film will also be shown internationally in the UK, Canada, Germany and Australia.
Watch as Colorado natives Max Mancini and Matt Luczkow hit the road on an ambitious snow-chasing trip across the state. Their journey reveals new challenges, exposes new terrain and teaches new lessons about what Colorado’s natural landscape has to offer. From camping in the Southern Colorado desert to checking out Colorado’s cool mountain town lifestyle through special spring events and music festivals, from getting freestyle skiing and girlfriend guidance from Colorado skiing icon Klaus Obermeyer to kayaking down the Colorado River’s most audacious rapids, these determined athletes cover many of Colorado’s most impressive settings. This is an exciting showcase of Colorado’s deepest stashes, most thrilling terrain parks and infamous spring skiing stunts, all set against a backdrop of Colorado’s signature bluebird skies.
