Even if you don’t know what a “toe pick” is, you can still cruise around on an outdoor or indoor ice rink. Maybe you won’t build your vacation around ice skating, but doing it in Colorado is a great way to enjoy a few hours of downtime. And if you don’t know how to ice skate, a number of rinks offer lessons, or you can just suck it up and slide on out there. Just make sure you stick close to the railing for a wee bit of support. Mountain towns like Breckenridge and Aspen certainly have their own rinks, but so do most of Colorado’s larger cities, like Denver and Colorado Springs.
