Love it. Absolutely love it. Loveland shows love to skiers and boarders every winter with an average of 400 inches of snow on its slopes. Yep, 400 inches. What is that in real-world terms? That’s about five of the Chinese big man, Yao Ming, standing on top of one other. Post up on that. OK, so Loveland shows love by letting the snow build up and making perfect runs, but it also shows love in a more “grownup” way. Every February 14 (that’s Valentine’s Day for the important-date-deficient out there), Loveland holds a mass wedding atop one of its runs. After the vows, the couples carve down the mountain as a sanctified couple. That’s true love … of the sport.
