Silverton Mountain

You can’t be namby pamby about skiing or snowboarding Silverton. There aren’t any beginner runs here, so if slow and easy is your speed, look elsewhere. This is where people go when they want a challenge, when their adrenaline reserves need to be tapped and sucked dry. Avalanche beacons, guides and a limited number of skiers and boarders a day are the rule. One lift and lots of steps accesses the terrain. You’ll have to hoof it to most of the runs, not that there are any “true” runs, just sides of the mountain you get to find your way down.
