Winter Park

How awesome could a ski and snowboarding area be with a name like “Winter Park?” About as sweet as you think – it’s winter’s playground. They’ve got tons of snow, open runs, a nice variety of slope difficulties and a train. Yeah, you read it right, a train. Winter Park and the Ski Train, which leaves from Denver daily, have teamed up to carry guests into the mountains. Forget the hassle of gas money, whose turn it is to drive or who gets control of the radio. Just hop on the Ski Train in downtown Denver’s Union Station, put your headphones on and watch as the scenery changes from a cityscape to mountains of snow.
