The Pearl Street Mall’s brick-laid outdoor mall is four blocks of boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and locally owned whatchamacallit stores. Street performers (or “buskers,” as they’re known in Boulder) are commonplace, but these aren’t the pick-up-any-old-instrument-and-pretend-how-to-sing variety, talent is ample and evident. The combination of eclectic music, stores and people add up to create a lively and inviting street scene. And if you bring along, or happen to meet a certain someone while in Boulder, it’s the perfect date spot.
