Situated between Delta and Montrose on the Uncompahgre River, Olathe is known for its hardworking farmers and hometown hospitality.

If you can pick a time to visit this small, southwest town, shoot for early August. The crowd- and stomach-pleasing Olathe Sweet Corn Festival - coined the biggest little festival in the U.S. - takes place this time each year. Boiled or roasted, take your pick, but make sure you hit try the divine ears at this down-home harvest party. Live music, this year including five national acts, and entertainment round out this family event. In addition, summer concerts take place all season at Community Park.
