Cultural Crossroads

For more than 13 millennia, people have inhabited the beautiful lands of Colorado. Today, time has shaped Colorado into a cultural crossroads where people of different backgrounds, ethnicities and generations come together to create a rich and diversified heritage. Colorado has many sites dedicated to telling the stories of these influential individuals. From the Molly Brown House Museum – which tells the story of famed-Titanic survivor and women’s rights champion, Margaret Brown – to the exploration of the diverse culture of the Ancestral Puebloans at the Anasazi Heritage Center, the state is dedicated to sharing the voices of these many groups with residents and travelers alike.
