Colorado is a mountainous state with no place for jet skiing you say? Pfft. Plenty of Colorado lakes and reservoirs will oblige jet skiers, including massive bodies of water that are hundreds of feet deep and home to hundreds of miles of shoreline.
While ocean-facing communities might try to claim a better place to jet ski, you’ll be won over by the views of the mountains as you skim the lake’s pristine water.
A great place to start are the listings below and Colorado’s Parks & Wildlife system, which can point you in the direction of the state’s boatable waters.
