The FAC Museum, founded in 1936 by the visionary Alice Bemis Taylor, is home to spectacular galleries for the FAC's permanent collection and world-class special exhibitions. The museum's collection of over 20,000 works features masterworks by such American artists as Richard Diebenkorn, Georgia O'Keeffe, Walt Kuhn, John Singer Sargent, Dale Chihuly, and artists connected to the historic Broadmoor Art Academy, as well as one of the strongest collections of Latin American and American Indian art in the nation. "No comprehensive story of Colorado art can be told without including selections from the arts center's extensive collection," writes the Denver Post. Exhibitions include Everyday Extraordinary: From Rembrandt to Warhol, Wendy Mike and Delane Bredvik: Ragnarӧk, Bruce Munro: Thank You for a Very Enjoyable Game, Raizes/Roots, Raven Chacon: Lightning Speak, Jennifer Steinkamp: Judy Crook, Steven Durow: Heartland, Adolf Dehn and the American Land, Chiho Aoshima: Takaamanohara, Yoshitomo Saito: millionyearseeds, and Loas, History and Memory.
