AH HAA SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS
The Ah Haa School for the Arts is Telluride’s answer to the call for a creative outlet. With a darkroom, ceramics studio, a number of classrooms and plenty of space for displaying art — all of which are open to the public — it's a creative mind's paradise. Visitors needn't be classically trained to enjoy the many classes offered; instead, all that's required is a willingness to create. Learn the art of Japanese box making, the basics of acrylics or the delicate tradition of silk dyeing. In keeping with the community-oriented spirit that has made Telluride a place for welcoming folk, the school is unassuming, unpretentious and utterly available to all who wish to learn more about their artistic abilities.
