Palisade is nestled next to Mt.Garfield and near the base of the Grand Mesa National Forest. This agricultural playground is known for its vast orchards and miles of scenic vineyards. For those who love to mountain bike, riders can enjoy the 13 miles of scenic views on the Palisade Rim Trail, or get in gear for the 2020 ultimate addition, The Palisade Plunge. This promises to be the largest mountain biking trail in the area, spanning 30 miles long off the top of a 10k ft mesa and leading all the way into downtown Palisade.
