Lucy's Place

Lucy's Cafe sits on a hill overlooking the South Platte River Valley where the town of Sedgwick is located along Highway 138. Early 1900's wood and masonry buildings still exist along the town's Main Street.

Lucy earned her cooking credentials during large roundup and branding operations on the Price Ranch, located on the South Table.

Famous through three generations for standard and exotic livestock, the ranch continues to raise about 40 head of buffalo (bison). Emray Price, Jerry's dad, started the buffalo herd in the 1940s. This delicacy is included on the menu here at Lucy's Place.
