Snowmass Ski Area is the largest of the four Aspen/Snowmass mountains with 4,406 feet of vertical rise and more than 3,332 acres of parks, pipes, groomers, glades, cliffs and steeps. Winter season highlights range from extravaganzas for the holidays and Mardi Gras to weekly Big Air competitions with some of the nation's hottest emerging athletes.
Free family activities include Storytelling and Sing-a-longs by the campfire and the Ice Age Discovery Center where you touch a mastodon tooth, wonder at a half-sized, 6-foot wooden mammoth skeleton and learn the story of the Snowmass Discovery, one of the most important high-elevation paleontological discoveries of our time.
Snowmass is nestled amid some of the most spectacular mountain vistas in Colorado, offering a wealth of culture, summer adventure and alpine mountain charm.
