Overview
Silver Thread/Alpine Loop Interpretive & Information Center is operated by the Lake City/Hinsdale County Chamber of Commerce. We have maps, local information, kid stuff, guides and more. Winter Ours are M-F 9 am to 3 pm, Summer hours (end of May) M-F 9 am to 5 pm and Sat 10 to 2 pm, and Sun Noon to 2 pm.
