Overview

Stagecoach State Park offers approximately 11 miles of trail for hiking, running, or biking.  Hike 1/2 mile to the top of Pinnacle Peak for panoramic views of the Stagecoach dam, Lynx Pass, the Flattop Mountains, and Thorpe Mountain.  Hike or bike the moderate 5 mile Elk Run trail for a chance to see bald eagles, osprey, fox, deer and many other animals that call the park home.  The one mile Lake View and one mile Overlook Trail pass near historic cabins and provide excellent photography opportunities.  The Elk Run, Overlook, and Lake View trails can be connected to the county road and roads within the park to create an 11 mile loop.  The wetlands at the inlet of the reservoir offer a 1/4 mile floating boardwalk and bird viewing areas.
