This powder-shredding, steep-conquering, mogul-busting film highlights Colorado’s most gripping explorations and ultimate challenges. All of the action in this 60th anniversary edition is set to an unmatched, innovative soundtrack, including music from Incubus, Silversun Pickups and Band of Horses.
This year’s film follows Colorado natives Max Mancini and Matt Luczkow as they hit the road on an ambitious snow-chasing trip across the state. Their journey reveals challenges, exposes new terrain and showcases what Colorado’s natural landscape has to offer ski and sports enthusiasts. The movie chronicles their camping in the southern Colorado desert, checking out Colorado’s cool mountain-town lifestyle through special spring events and music festivals, and getting freestyle skiing and girlfriend guidance from Colorado skiing icon Klaus Obermeyer. It even shows their heart-stopping adventures while kayaking down the Colorado River’s most audacious rapids and drops. This is an exciting display of Colorado’s deepest stashes, most thrilling terrain parks and infamous spring skiing stunts, all set against a backdrop of Colorado’s signature bluebird skies.
