Overview
Loveland is Denver's closest ski area and has been a local's favorite for 75years. Ski Loveland and enjoy 1,800 acres of terrain spread across the Continental Divide where an average of 422 inches of snow fall each season and lift lines are virtually non-existent.
Loveland Valley caters to beginners with a separate base area and wide open terrain so beginners don't have to worry about intimidating runs crossing their path. It's here that your new found love of skiing or riding will flourish in an environment that nurtures a learning experience. Loveland's Ski & Ride School offers affordable lesson packages for all ages and abilities.
Loveland Basin has everything from cruisers bumps to trees to steeps and everything in between to challenge even the most seasoned skier. The Ridge provides intermediate and advanced snow-riders terrain just the way they like it - open, steep and deep.
New in 2012, Loveland will be offering free snowcat rides along The Ridge. The Ridge Cat will whisk skiers and riders along The Continental Divide to some of Loveland's best terrain.
