The Montrose Water Sports Park is the centerpiece of a diverse and adventure filled park complex that holds fun for all ages and abilities. Surf your stand up paddle board (SUP), roll your kayak, or tube your way down the six man-made drops in the Uncompahgre River that runs through October. Spectating while wading along on the terraced beaches is just as much fun.
Looking for something a little drier? Bring the kids for a picnic and a fun time at the playground and watch them giggle while watching the geese play around the lake. Take a stroll along the river or take a run up to the top of Sunset Mesa. Oh, and don’t forget your discs for a challenging game of disc golf!
