<p>Jiacuy Roche is a Brazilian native who was adopted by American parents at an early age. Despite being raised in the States, the artist embraced her culture and honors her Afro roots in her work. This was Roche's first mural, and she wanted to showcase the diversity of the city she now calls home. </p>
