This 3.8-mile lightly trafficked out-and-back trail near Cañon City features a tunnel blasted out of the mountainside. Ideal for families, wildlife viewing, and taking in the gorgeous Royal Gorge scenery.

Take advantage of clear fall skies and low light pollution at Red Canyon Park. Just north of Cañon City, the park is a wonderland of fossils, pinon pines and towering red rocks.
