Colorado at Altitude
See what it's like to soar — literally — above some of Colorado's most beautiful places.
Towering over 1,000 feet, the Royal Gorge Bridge near Cañon City is the highest suspension bridge in America. At approximately 10 miles long and surrounded by red granite walls, it’s no wonder some of the first American explorers referred to it as the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas.

Located about an hour west of Denver are Grays and Torreys — two of the state's 58 fourteeners (peaks that are 14,000 feet or higher above sea level). The peaks are in close proximity to each other, so it’s popular to hike them both in one day.
