 We outfit in the West Elk Wilderness, which is part of the Gunnison National Forest located in west central Colorado. The West Elk Wilderness is one of the few places where elk could still be found around the beginning of the 20th Century. It is true wilderness with no roads, nothing motorized or mechanized.
