Opened in 2022, RainDance boasts 8,463 yards and 18 holes of high-elevation fun. Designed by PGA Tour Champion Fred Funk, the course features 250 feet of elevation change, gorgeous scenery and a variety of tee boxes that ensure fun for all skill levels.

Storied History: The Broadmoor Golf Club, Colorado Springs

Golf at The Broadmoor is a legendary experience, celebrating its 105th year in 2023. Tee off where the U.S. Men’s Senior Open was hosted in 2018 and where the likes of President Eisenhower tackled the challenging links. The course has also hosted summer's The Broadmoor Invitation for more than a century.

Drives Fly Farther: Copper Creek Golf Club, Frisco

America’s highest-altitude golf course greets you at an elevation of 9,863 feet. The thin air on these 18 holes means your ball will travel farther, so get ready to hit your most brag-worthy drive yet.

European Style: Ballyneal Golf Club, Holyoke

This private golf destination is well-known in the golf community for a minimalist style of play that makes you feel like you could be wearing a Scottish kilt in 1457. The inland links-style course’s accolades include ranking as one of GolfDigest's 100 Greatest Courses since 2011 as well as being their top pick for the state.

Photo-Ready: Arrowhead Golf Course, Littleton

Visit Arrowhead at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to see red rocks shooting out of the ground. These towering formations are the perfect backdrop for a round — and a selfie or two. The par-70 championship course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Off-the-Beaten-Path: Spreading Antlers Golf Course, Lamar

Southeast Colorado’s secret, this public nine-hole course designed by Labron Harris, is open 365 days a year (unless temps drop below 40) and is host to water hazards, sand traps and challenging greens.

Beginner-Friendly: Cattail Creek Golf Course, Loveland

Cattail Creek should be your go-to if you're new to the golf scene with nine par-three holes and handy hole-by-hole tips. You can enlist PGA golf instruction and practice on a nine-hole mini course to work on your short game. There are also four self-teaching stations for pitching, chipping, putting and full-swing practice.

Prehistoric Past: Fossil Trace Golf Club, Golden

Golf next to triceratops footprints at this course that opened 64 million years after dinosaurs walked the grounds. Several massive remnants of clay-mining equipment from the course’s past can be seen throughout the holes as well.

Likely to Spot Wildlife: Quail Dunes Golf Course, Fort Morgan

Spot hawks, eagles and other native birds at this designated Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary along the South Platte River. The original 1920s front nine-hole course was designed by Henry Hughes.

Mountain Views: Telluride Golf Club

Why hike a fourteener when you can take a swing at this course, tucked amid the highest concentration of 13,000- and 14,000-foot peaks in the country? Make sure you stop at the 17th-hole tee box for sweeping panoramic views.

Optimal for Year-Round Play: The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa, Grand Junction

Putt for birdie in the shadow of Colorado National Monument. Located on the Grand Mesa, this area has mild weather year-round, and the club’s towering pink and red sandstone also hangs around throughout the year for an additional wow factor.
