Colorado Tourism Office Awards 15 Tourism Marketing Grants to Boost Statewide Marketing Efforts

DENVER, Oct. 30, 2025 — Today, the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), announced 15 new recipients of the Tourism Marketing Grant to enhance tourism marketing initiatives across the state, including Archuleta, Chaffee, Clear Creek, Eagle, Grand, and Rio Grande counties. These grants are designed to support local and regional tourism destinations by providing resources to promote Colorado as a premier travel destination while fostering responsible travel practices that benefit residents and visitors.

"The Tourism Marketing Grant program helps ensure that communities across the state benefit from Colorado's thriving tourism industry," said OEDIT Executive Director, Eve Lieberman. "We're not only investing in the growth of our vibrant tourism destinations but also empowering communities to highlight their unique charm, inviting visitors to discover both our well-loved and hidden gems across the state."

The Tourism Marketing Grant program provides financial assistance for marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with the CTO's mission to boost traveler spending through the promotion and development of compelling, sustainable travel experiences statewide. The program's goals include promoting responsible travel, strengthening destination stewardship, and maximizing the economic impact of tourism investments in Colorado.

"These travel organizations are poised to elevate Colorado's reputation as a premier travel destination, and we are excited to see the innovative campaigns and initiatives that will enhance our tourism economy, benefit our residents, and protect our natural resources."

Fifteen grants ranging from $20,000 to $49,000 will impact 24 counties across Colorado.

  • Arvada Visitors Center (Visit Arvada) ($20,000): To support marketing research to develop a compelling cultural tourism brand and position Arvada as a vibrant cultural destination.
  • Beaver Creek Resort Company of Colorado ($42,333): To highlight the resort’s accessible pathways, adaptive recreation, and lodging to connect with travelers who value accessibility.
  • Chaffee County Visitors Bureau ($49,000): To identify and reach the region’s visitors using a tourism intelligence platform and gain insights into visitor engagement.
  • Clear Creek County Tourism Bureau, Inc. ($49,000): To support the creation of a pocketbook that showcases the full Clear Creek County experience, combining outdoor recreation, heritage tourism, and cultural opportunities.
  • Colorado Cross County Ski Association ($49,000): To launch a campaign promoting cross country ski vacations in Colorado that inspire extended stays and responsible tourism.
  • Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch Association ($20,000): To create a video campaign centered on a family’s visits to a Colorado dude ranch, highlighting the unique experience and history of dude ranches in Colorado.
  • Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau ($49,000): To execute a multi-faceted digital marketing campaign showcasing the history, culture, art and outdoor adventure of Colorado Springs.
  • Del Norte Chamber of Commerce ($26,666): To update their website into an accessible story-driven hub for Colorado's sesquicentennial that includes themed itineraries to encourage visitors to explore Del Norte’s diverse heritage.
  • Fort Collins Convention & Visitors Bureau ($49,000): To support a collaborative marketing campaign led by six Northern Colorado destinations to strengthen regional visitation through storytelling and curated itineraries.
  • Grand County Colorado Tourism Board ($48,999): To assist in a marketing campaign that spotlights Grand County’s history to drive visitation to the area.
  • Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce ($20,833): To support a marketing campaign that promotes Pueblo as a must-see destination by celebrating its heritage, music, and culture.
  • Longmont Area Visitors Association, Inc. ($48,565): To redesign and distribute its Visitor Guide that prioritizes storytelling, trip planning, and authentic representation of Longmont’s culture and experience.
  • Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board ($49,000): To expand awareness of Pagosa Springs and Alamosa’s cultural and historic corridor linking, weaving together centuries of stories across the San Juan Mountains and San Luis Valley.
  • Palisade Tourism Advisory Board ($40,000): To fund a video and photography series that captures the spirit, history, and culture of Palisade, Colorado, and the surrounding region’s natural and recreational amenities.
  • Visit Grand Junction ($49,000): To support the launch of a marketing campaign celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 150th anniversary of Colorado by showcasing Grand Junction’s unique experiences.
