Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region is open for business and adventure. Enjoy our wide-open spaces in places like Garden of the Gods Park, Paint Mines Interpretive Park, Red Rock Open Space, Palmer Park and Memorial Park. Hike Barr Trail to the summit of Pikes Peak - America's Mountain and treat yo'self to a delicious donut (no need to stop at one!). Other ways to get to the summit include driving the Pikes Peak Highway or on a guided open-air tour. You can also be whisked to the summit in a van and then take a guided bike tour down the Pikes Peak Highway. Visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Water's Edge: Africa exhibit to visit with African penguins and hungry, hungry Nile hippos in their beautiful, new verdant environment. The new U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum offers an accessible and custom experience for each guest. Flying W Ranch serves up scrumptious BBQ and beautiful cowboy harmonies. Head up the pass to Woodland Park and Cripple Creek and go southwest for rafting and other adventures in the Royal Gorge Region.
