Penrose

The small agricultural community of Penrose is located between Cañon City and Pueblo in south-central Colorado.

Penrose is popularly known for its Apple Day, held each October to celebrate the area’s apple crop. If u-pick orchard fun is more your speed, head to the bountiful Happy Apple Farm (hint: they do hayrides and a pumpkin patch in fall).
