State Bridge

State Bridge, located along Colorado 131 west of Vail, is a popular destination for water enthusiasts. A 14-mile stretch of whitewater runs through State Bridge, bringing rafters and kayakers to this tiny junction town.

State Bridge also marks one end/beginning of the 80-mile Colorado River Headwaters Scenic and Historic Byway. The rough gravel route is challenging to Kremmling, but offers spectacular views and access to fishing and other water sports along the mighty Colorado River.
