Cideries

Colorado's access to juicy fruit — made sweet by our hot days and cool nights — is fueling a growth spurt of cideries around the state and contributing to Colorado Liquid Arts in a big way.

Pop into these places for tastings, tours, festivals and other farm activities like picking, hayrides and meeting the people pressing these delicious and refreshing drinks.

Many of the cideries are producing a wide variety of flavors — from dry versions with champagne-like finishes, to cherry-, lavender-, pear- and citrus-y notes. Be sure to pick up a jug to take home with you!

The state hosts several cider events, including the Colorado Hard Cider Festival in Hotchkiss, Cider Days in Lakewood and Copper Mountain's Cider Circus. You will also find many of the cideries represented at farmers' markets through the state.
