Ride Through City Sights & Scenic Areas on E-Bike Tours

Boulder E-Bike Tour

Strap on your helmet — it’s time to explore Boulder on two wheels. In the heart of downtown, Pearl Street Mall will make you want to come back and wander at your own pace. Unlike many other malls, it’s all outdoors, with four blocks of brick-lined streets, trees and tulip-filled flowerbeds, plus shops and outdoor dining that give it a lively feel. Even more charming is the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, with its detailed craftsmanship from Tajikistan. Vibrant colors, intricate geometrical design and plants fill both the outside and inside — all giving the effect of stepping into an entirely different country.

Just outside the city, this e-bike tour heads into Boulder’s natural side, with routes that bring in mountain views. The Flatirons stand out right away with their sharp, slanted formations that almost look windswept. Chautauqua Park sits just below, a base for hiking, playground time and even walking tours. Riding along Boulder Creek Path, you’ll pedal through shaded areas and over small bridges, passing Eben G. Fine Park, where people spread out their picnic blankets or float by in tubes.

Other sights:

  • Fiske Planetarium
  • The Sink (a local favorite for pizzas and burgers)
  • University of Colorado Boulder
  • The Hill (Boulder’s main commercial district)
  • Hotel Boulderado

Denver E-Bike Tour

Your private Colorado e-bike tour in the Mile High City leads the way to some of our most recognizable attractions. Along the way, you’ll cruise past Denver Union Station, its arched windows and red neon sign giving it a modern yet retro look. Built in 1881, this transit hub offers a mix of places to eat, drink and shop, making it feel like a mini city. See more of Denver’s artsy side as you pass by outdoor sculptures, from the tall white dancing figures at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts to the Scottish cows at the Denver Art Museum close by Civic Center Park.

Near Confluence Park, you’ll ride along the South Platte River and Cherry Creek, as kayakers and paddleboarders drift in the water. Your tour also takes you outside Coors Field, and if a game’s on, you might hear cracking bats, cheers for home runs and maybe even “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

Other sights:

  • Colorado Convention Center
  • McGregor Square
  • Larimer Square

Estes Park E-Bike Tour

In Estes Park, you’re riding with mountains rising all around you and the sound of flowing water nearby. The 1-mile Riverwalk runs through downtown along the Big Thompson River, with shops and patios right next to the water. Once you’re in Rocky Mountain National Park, the highway bends along Trail Ridge Road, known for its high elevation — you might even feel your ears pop. The journey then climbs into tighter turns on the narrow Old Fall River Road, where dust kicks up from your tires.

There’s also time to stop at places like The Stanley Hotel, which inspired Stephen King’s “The Shining,” with a visit to the gift store for slightly spooky souvenirs. The Lake Estes Marina and Tackle Shop is another place you’ll visit, a go-to for bait, snacks, drinks and outdoor gear — perfect if you’re looking to toss a line or feeling hungry after your bike tour.

Fort Collins E-Bike Tour

Like many cities, Fort Collins has a central hub, and here that hub is Old Town. This energetic area stays busy with people browsing between boutiques, restaurants and markets. String lights crisscross above and a sculpture-fountain with a low ledge invites people to sit, all easily taken in as you cruise through on your e-bike.

The tour also reaches the Cache la Poudre River, Colorado’s only designated National Wild and Scenic River. Well-loved by locals and visitors alike, the Poudre, as it’s called, is known for everything from calmer waters for kayaking and fishing to more thrilling whitewater rafting. Cottonwoods line parts of the riverbank, and the sound of the current echoes alongside as you roll by.

Other sights:

  • New Belgium Brewing Company
  • Fort Collins Museum of Discovery
  • Canvas Stadium (home to the Colorado State Rams football team)
  • Colorado State University’s Gregory Allicar Museum of Art

Garden of the Gods Manitou Springs E-Bike Tour

Garden of the Gods is one of those places you’d hate to miss, and this private tour makes sure you don’t. On an e-bike, with pedal-assist coming in handy, it’s a swift ride past towering dusty-orange rock formations without feeling worn out. Get close enough to take in the scale of the landscape, with your expert guide sharing how these natural features took shape over time.

As you ride, say hello to Pikes Peak, known by many as “America’s Mountain” and, if you ask Ride Colorado, their favorite fourteener — don’t tell the other mountains! You also get a small taste of the Manitou Incline, a steep and challenging climb with 2,768 steps. Even from the base, you get a sense of just how intense it is as its crooked steps lead directly up the mountainside.

Other sights:

  • Miramont Castle Museum
  • Arcade Amusements
  • Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway

Guided Car Tours to Colorado’s Iconic Landmarks

Buckle up for some of Colorado’s best drives, with all the planning handled for you. With private Jeep or Rivian tours from Ride Colorado, local experts share insights you might not catch on your own — and set you up with binoculars so you don’t miss a thing.

Rocky Mountain National Park Car Tour from Estes Park

Estes Park is the starting point of this three-hour car tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Beaver Meadows Entrance is a popular way to get into the park, with miles of bending roads and views of the landscape and wildlife along the way. You’ll want to get your camera out for Sprague Lake — its still water reflects the mountains and trees above — and for the alpine scenery at Bear Lake Trailhead, framed by mountain peaks and evergreen forest.

Feel like you’ve stepped into a picture-perfect setting at Moraine Park, where a wide meadow often fills with elk. At Alberta Falls, you’ll hear the rush of water crashing over rocks before you even see it, and the Trail Ridge Road summit comes into the picture with its elevation, earning it the nickname “Highway to the Sky” and topping out at 12,000-plus feet.

Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs & Garden of the Gods Car Tour

Ride Colorado’s private car tours also bring you to places like Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. Over the course of about four hours, spend time at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center to learn more about the park before taking in sweeping views of majestic red rock set against bluebird-colored skies. Hear how the sandstone formations, which feel almost otherworldly, took shape over time.

A drive up Pikes Peak is one you won’t forget. As your car climbs up the storied highway, you’ll find it impossible to look away from the window, and you can almost see the curvature of the Earth. You’ll also roll through downtown Manitou Springs, with a stop at the Miramont Castle Museum, a historic landmark known for its Victorian architecture and preserved local details.

Other sights:

  • Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway
  • Arcade Amusements
  • Manitou Incline

With Ride Colorado, local experts handle the details so you can focus on seeing more of the state, from Boulder and Denver to Estes Park, Fort Collins and Manitou Springs. Private e-bike and car tours make it easy to fit in a lot without overthinking the plan — and honestly, what better way to explore?
