The Center for Colorado Women’s History is a history museum that focuses on the stories, memories, and experiences of women of Colorado. Located in the heart of Denver, the Center for Colorado Women’s History offers bold exhibits, personalized tours, and frequent special events and programs inspired by our diverse neighbors in Denver. Guests have the option to stroll through exhibits independently on General Admission, take a docent-led Women’s History Tour, or pop in for a quick visit to our gift shop or gardens.
The Center for Colorado Women’s History is located within a spacious historic home built in 1883. Guests who choose to tour the museum will find themselves surrounded by domestic objects and art of a bygone era while listening to the stories of historic Colorado women. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long, and learners of all ages are welcome to participate.
