Escape to high-country heaven and cloud-spotted blue skies in refreshing seclusion at the Trappers Lake Lodge, a 90-minute drive from downtown Meeker. With more than 10 welcoming cabins, a restaurant and bar, a general store and activities like horseback riding and fishing at Trappers Lake, this lodge is much more than just a place to rest your head.
What makes it special?
It’s got that Wild West feel in a modern time. First named the Forest Inn at Trappers Lake upon its construction in the 1880s, this preserved piece of history celebrates its past — you can still reserve one of three cabins (numbers five, nine and 10) that were built before the 20th century.
