Hiking and Hot Springs - Guided Hiking Trip

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new guided hiking trip for 2026 exploring the Colorado Trail near Buena Vista, Colorado! We created this trip after hearing from many of our guests that they’d love a slightly shorter, more relaxed adventure without sacrificing the incredible scenery. Each day, we’ll explore stunning sections of the Colorado Trail, surrounded by mountain views and wildflower meadows, with the option to unwind in the soothing waters of Cottonwood, Charlotte, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.

We’ll be camping at Arrowhead Point Campground with hot showers and flush toilets available throughout your stay. Please feel free to bring a large tent, air matresses, cots, and anything else to keep you comfortable during the trip. We won’t be moving camp so size/weight is not an issue! If you’d like to rent an oversized tent complete with cots and sleeping bags, Colorado Mountain Expeditions offers rentals on their website.

Each day will begin with a hot breakfast prepared by your guides. We’ll then shuttle out to a trailhead in the van and hike 6-9 miles on the Colorado Trail. You’ll have a packed lunch while on the trail. Following our hikes, you’ll be able to sit and enjoy three different hot springs (admission not included). When we return to camp, a delicious, healthy dinner will be served!
