Fairplay Historic Walking Tour

Following the 1859 discovery of gold, latecomers to the area established a new mining camp called Fair Play.  Six 19th-Century buildings along with other historic buildings are interpreted in the walking tour brochure (copies available at the Fairplay Visitor Center).
