Ideally situated near eastern Colorado’s largest bodies of water, Wiley is a small town with lots of outdoor activities.
John Martin Reservoir State Park is a short drive west and sports placid waters, campgrounds and other family-friendly activities. Just north of town is Queens State Wildlife Area, popular with waterfowl viewers, especially during winter migrations. The wildlife area is ideal, not only for its proximity to Wiley, but because of the four bodies of water that provide a riparian habitat for varied wildlife — the Neegronda, Neenoshe, Neesopah and Neeskah reservoirs.
